Your moments are my passion.
You want that moment captured. You know the one I'm talking about. Maybe it's the way your little girl bites her lip when she's being shy, or how your son loves to jump, a glimpse of that dimple when your baby smiles, or the love on your husband's face when you look at him. These are the moments that matter.
My philosophy is about capturing your family in a comfortable setting without forced smiles. I would choose a tickle-fight over saying "smile!" any day! Life isn’t posed, but it is beautiful. Imperfectly so. Life is about real moments; big or small, the moments that matter. My photography embraces these moments.
My passion for photography started when I first picked up a film camera way before the digital times we live in now. I have been taking photographs since 1983, when I was on my high school newspaper staff. After graduating, I enlisted in the U.S. Navy and attended Broadcast Journalism School in Indiana, after which I was assigned to the USS Belleau Wood LHA-3.
After serving 5 years in the Navy, I continued with photography and video production working with small production companies in Reno and Carson City, Nevada. I've most recently moved from Oregon, where I owned an Art Gallery and Photography business. I now reside in the West Phoenix, AZ area and I'm not afraid of traveling!
During my career, I've photographed in 3 continents, 7 foreign countries, and 19 US states.
In the end of it all, my commitment is to provide you with professional fast, high quality service and products you can depend on and cherish for a lifetime.
